We caught up with Gill, Chris and Denise tonight - we all know each other from our days based in Sainsbury’s Romford Area Office in the 80s. It’s been a while since we last got together with the gang, and it was our turn to host.
I did most of the food preparation, whilst Ann dropped into Leicester for a serious five-hour shopping spree with Karen G!

With all the ingredients assembled, Ann weaved her culinary magic - as usual – and when the time came, the rest of us did the menu justice! We caught up with each others’ news eventually saying our goodbyes to Chris and Gill just after 10.30. Denise stayed over, and I dropped her back at the Station on Sunday.
It’s been great catching up with (part of) the ‘old gang’ and hopefully, there’s plenty of opportunity to do it all again, later this year.
