Took Mum Home/Carmen Jones

We left at around 9 and headed for Mum's. A good journey back although the Dartford Crossing was pretty busy. Had a coffee with Mum and left around 11.30 heading for London. We had a smooth but slow journey through Bromley, Mottinghma, Catford, Lewisham and got to the South Bank around 1pm.

Popped in a new Pizza Express for lunch - excellent! Then, made our way to the Royal Festival Hall.

'Carment Jones' was brilliant! Considering the lead ' Tsakane Valentine Masawanganyi' was suffering from a throat infection, she had a mighty powerful voice. It was an excellent show! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the words and music were brialliant. It finished around 5.15 and had a smooth journey out of London and were home by 7.30.
