Technology Day

Although I've been quite busy with work, I've managed to thoroughly test out Mozy and install AVG's latest Security Suite on all the PCs

Mozy is an online back-up service that gives anyone 2Gb of online storage for free. That's not enough for my needs so I chose the MobyPlus option that offers an eye-watering 60Gb of storage for a mere £10 dollars a month. This looks like even better value when Barclays want £27 per month for 20Gbs of storage!!

The latest version of AVG is their normal 100% reliable, feature-rich software. It includes Anti-virus, Anti-Spyware and Spam Filtering plus a more sophiticated Firewall than the Windows XP version. Plus, there doesn't appear to be any slow down in any of the PCs given that there's 'a lot going on under the bonnet' with this product.
