French Holiday: Day 13

A fantastic meal in the Hotel restaurant last night! A very busy place, and it's clear its customers, both French and Brits come from miles around to eat here.

Today started off cloudy and damp, so we plan to do museums and stuff that's INSIDE.

First call is the famous Bayeux Tapestry and the Cathedral. Great stuff!

Next, it's the American War Cemetery at Coleville-sur-Mer. We haven't been there since our first French holiday, 20ish years ago!

Last stop was the last remaining gun emplacements designed to shell the advancing allies during D Day.

We finished off at the '360 Experience' that used 8 screens to tell a virtual history of the local area during the 2nd World War

We're eating in again tonight - hope it's as good as last night.

Caen Market tomorrow!
